I’m Lauren – a CBT Therapist based in Shoeburyness, offering both online and face-to-face sessions. With over ten years of experience in mental health, I’ve supported people through anxiety, trauma, and low self-esteem, and I’m deeply passionate about helping others reconnect with their inner strength.
I understand how it feels to wrestle with self-doubt, to shrink in moments where confidence is needed, and to carry the weight of past experiences that still echo in the present. That understanding is what drives my work; helping people break free from unhelpful patterns and build a more compassionate relationship with themselves.
Over the years, I’ve developed a particular focus on PTSD and trauma, using trauma-focused CBT to support people in processing difficult experiences in a safe, structured way. Whether you’re facing something recent or something long-buried, I offer a space where you can begin to make sense of it all – without pressure or judgment.

I’m Lauren Page—a BABCP-accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist based in Shoeburyness, offering both online and face-to-face sessions. I’ve been working in mental health for over five years, supporting people through anxiety, trauma, and low self-esteem. But this isn’t just professional for me - it’s personal.

For a long time, I struggled with low self-worth. I know how it feels to constantly doubt yourself, to shrink in situations where you want to feel confident, and to carry the weight of past experiences that still echo in the present. CBT helped me understand those patterns and gave me the tools to change them. That journey is what inspired me to become a therapist—to help others find the same clarity, strength, and self-compassion.

I offer a free, no-obligation 15-minute telephone consultation to help you explore whether therapy is the right fit for you

Individual Therapy

Individual Therapy with me is relaxed, real, and tailored to you. Whether we meet online or in my cosy Shoeburyness office, you’ll be welcomed just as you are - no pressure, no judgment.

We’ll take things at your pace, exploring what’s been weighing you down and gently working through it together. I use evidence-based CBT techniques, but more importantly, I bring warmth, honesty, and a down-to-earth approach to every session.

You don’t need to have the “right words” or a clear plan, just a willingness to show up. I’ll guide you through the process, helping you build confidence, shift unhelpful patterns, and reconnect with your sense of self.

This is your space to feel heard, supported, and empowered.

Session Fees:

  • £90 for in-person therapy (Shoeburyness clinic)
  • £80 for online therapy

Each session is 50 minutes in length. I ask that you commit to an initial block of six sessions, so we can build momentum and give the process the consistency it needs to be truly effective

Group Therapy

The 4-week online course is designed for anyone who feels held back by low self-esteem and wants to start showing up with more confidence and self-compassion.

You’ll join a small, supportive group of people who get what it’s like to doubt yourself, feel not good enough, or struggle to speak up. Together, we’ll explore the roots of self-doubt, learn practical CBT tools, and gently challenge the patterns that keep you stuck.

Each week, we’ll meet online in a relaxed, welcoming space where you can be yourself – no pressure to overshare or perform. I’ll guide the sessions with warmth and structure, making sure everyone feels safe, heard, and supported.

Expect real conversations, gentle encouragement, and a chance to grow alongside others who are on the same journey. You don’t need to be confident to join, just curious about what life might feel like with a little more self-belief.

Course Fee: £195 – Includes 4 weekly sessions, each 90 minutes long, delivered online via Microsoft Teams.
